We have used Smart Air for years and they have never let us down. Pete came out this last time (2.18.22) he called to say he would be earlier than our scheduled appointment time- which was great . He was professional and so knowledgeable about all the services we’d need. We had put off the inevitable for as long as possible and needed to get our a/c unit replaced. Some how talking to Pete about the new unit and it’s capabilities, the warranties etc. made the decision to purchase a new unit less painful. If all companies had employees like Pete, consumers wouldn’t feel so apprehensive about making big ticket purchases. His knowledge was reassuring. This is a quality business with the best people like Pete and Jay.

Jay explained thoroughly, what he was going to provide, in terms of brand name and step by step installation of the new units. Jay gave an estimated time of completion and he met the time he suggested. Jay, owner, is a pleasant person to work with and speak with. He will answer every question you may have, as many times as you ask him. He is patient and his work is of very high quality. I am extremely pleased with his work and the AC/Furnace units he installed.

"Excellent Service"

My AC was not cooling and looked around for a good AC repair company. After reading online reviews, I called Smart Air and a technician arrived same day and repaired the AC within two hours. Following morning I noticed the AC was not cooling enough and I called them again. The owner (Jay) came down and did a thorough check on inlet air temperatures in all areas of the house. He said high temperatures is because of drying fans working inside the house and when they are removed cooling with be back to normal. He was very caring and provided tips on maintaining AC at its optimum performance. I would recommend Smart Air to anyone looking for a good reliable AC repair company. It was not the fan motor. Now my A/C works great again and at a cost of $150.00. Jay is now my go to A/C man.

The company changed my AC coil and some parts. They did very clean and fast work. When they came to the house they were all wearing shoe covers, It was very impressing and very unusual for AC company to do that. Very nice and clean job. Keep the good work.

Jay with Smart Air came out on a Sunday when our Air Conditioner went out. We called Smart Air for a second estimate after the first company's estimate seemed really high and some things we were told seemed suspicious. Jay was very honest and his estimate was one-third the price of the other company's!!! Our suspicions were correct as the "new wiring" the other company said we had to have was NOT necessary! Jay said he would check the price of the part on Monday, let us know and have our AC repaired by 3 AND HE DID!!! Also, from the moment Jay with Smart Air arrived, he was very professional, including covering his shoes with disposable shoe protectors. I highly recommend Smart Air for all of your Air Conditioning and Heating needs. They are reliable, HONEST and trustworthy!

"I just love when a contractor treats my place like he would his own home."

Got to my office on a cold morning & the furnace was not working. Jay identified the problem, got the furnace running well enough until he was able to pick up a new duct heater package & install it just a few hours later. Jay was neat, clean & pleasant. He explained the problem clearly. I felt the price was quite reasonable. The one shocking thing was that I caught him cleaning up all the little bits of debris that typically land on the floor from the ceiling tiles being moved around. I just love when a contractor treats my place like he would his own home.

Heater went out for the 1st time Thursday night. Called Friday morning and they were very professional when they answered. (5 stars) Gave me an estimated time and said I'll get a call 30 mins before showing up. Let me say most of the time this happens, other companies never call or don't show up on the time schedules to arrive. But Jay called and in 30 mins he was there. (5 stars) Jay was professional and courteous. He assessed my problem, and had the issue solved within minutes. (5 stars) Jay did a great job and in the end gave me some great pointers and gave me some very sound advice on how to maintain my a/c and heater. I have used a few different A/C service’s. Smart is by far the best and most professional A/C service I have used. Jay will show you the price book up front. They won’t pressure you or make up a price out of thin air. They won’t charge you $200 for a $10 part. I can’t say enough about Jay.

Jay came last week to fix an intermittent heat problem. He got all possible components to fix the problem described, came at the agreed time, checked ALL components, found 2 problems, made the repair, double-checked to ensure it worked properly, was clean as a surgical instrument, friendly, gave understandable answers, charged phone estimated price, and gone within the time we agreed. WOW! How often does THAT happen?
